Ventac was proud to take part in this year’s County Kildare Business Expo at the Curragh Racecourse, hosted by County Kildare Chamber. Representing Ventac at the event was Paul Mullen, our Industrial Business Development Manager, who spent the day meeting with business leaders, contractors, and engineers to share insights into the company’s Industrial Noise Control offering and how Ventac is supporting Ireland’s expanding industrial and data centre landscape.
“Events like this are invaluable,” says Paul. “They allow us to connect directly with local businesses who are shaping the future of Ireland’s industrial sector – from data centres to manufacturing facilities and everything in between. Our goal is to show that Ventac is more than an acoustic supplier, we’re an engineering partner.”

A Growing Demand for Acoustic Engineering Expertise
Ireland’s industrial landscape continues to evolve rapidly, driven by investment in data centres, advanced manufacturing, energy infrastructure, and wastewater facilities. With this growth comes increasing awareness of the importance of acoustic performance. Not just for compliance, but for worker safety, community well-being and operational efficiency.
“Noise control is often considered too late in the project lifecycle,” Paul explains. “By getting involved early, we can help engineers and contractors integrate acoustic solutions that don’t compromise airflow, cooling or accessibility. It’s about finding balance, and engineering solutions that work both acoustically and operationally.”
Ventac’s Industrial Noise Control function operates across multiple sectors, delivering turnkey acoustic solutions that include assessment, design, manufacture, installation and testing. The team works closely with mechanical contractors, architects and consulting engineers, ensuring acoustic treatments are designed to complement HVAC systems, enclosures and building layouts from the outset.

Meeting Ireland’s Industrial Noise Challenges Head-On
Across Ireland, businesses face a familiar set of acoustic challenges:
“Every site is different,” says Paul. “That’s why custom-engineered, bespoke solutions are so critical. We design and manufacture to the project, not the other way around. It’s what allows us to deliver consistently proven results.”
Building Relationships and Driving Innovation
As Ireland continues to invest in energy-efficient, high-performance facilities, the need for integrated acoustic engineering is stronger than ever. Events like the County Kildare Business Expo provide a valuable platform for collaboration and connection – something Ventac has built its reputation on for over 50 years.
“At Ventac, we’ve always believed that innovation starts with conversation,” Paul adds. “By engaging with the wider business community, we’re not just promoting what we do. We’re always learning where the challenges lie and how we can evolve to meet them.”
