Ventac Raises Funds Charity this Christmas

The spirit of giving was alive and well at Ventac, where the team came together to make a positive impact on their local community this holiday season. Throughout the month of November, the company embarked on a mission to support Saint Vincent de Paul, gathering food and toys to bring joy and comfort to those in need. The culmination of their efforts was marked by a special fundraising coffee morning on Friday 24 November which saw the  Irish Headquarters rally together for a great cause.

Ventac’s commitment to making a difference was evident throughout the month of November. Staff organised a food and toy drive, encouraging employees to contribute items that would make a great difference to the lives of local families. Donations poured in, accumulating a substantial collection of essentials and gifts.

The highlight of Ventac’s charitable efforts was undoubtedly the fundraising coffee morning held on 24 November. The event served as a gathering point for the team, demonstrating a sense of community and shared purpose. To raise funds for the Saint Vincent de Paul charity, Ventac organised a raffle, and the atmosphere was filled with good cheer as the team contributed to the cause through both raffle ticket purchases and direct donations.

Eamonn Elliot, a representative from Blessington’s Saint Vincent de Paul, expressed his gratitude for Ventac’s exceptional efforts. In a statement, he gave his sincerest thanks to all the management and staff of Ventac, acknowledging their overwhelming kindness. Elliot highlighted the impact of the collected food and toys, noting that they would bring smiles to the faces of local children during the festive season. Additionally, he expressed appreciation for the monetary donation, emphasising its significance in providing food vouchers to those in need over the Christmas period.

Ventac’s goal in supporting Saint Vincent de Paul is to make a meaningful difference in the local community. The company’s dedication to giving back, both in material goods and financial contributions, reflects a spirit of generosity that extends beyond the workplace. Ventac Managing Director Darren Fortune comments that Saint Vincent de Paul is an extremely hard-working organisation that does great work in the community, and the company is delighted to be able support them in this fundraiser for Christmas As the holiday season approaches, Ventac’s efforts serve as an inspiring example of the positive impact that can be achieved when a community comes together. Ventac will continue to strive to make the world a more comfortable place for all, and to make a significant difference in the lives of those less fortunate.
