With the continued growth of hyperscale and colocation infrastructure, noise control is becoming a critical pillar of operational excellence in the Data Centre industry. Few understand this better than Brian Scully, Ventac’s Business Development Manager and in-house expert on Data Centre acoustics.
In this blog, Brian shares Ventac’s goals, innovations, and vision for 2025—offering insight into how the company is shaping the future of acoustic solutions in high-performance, ESG-driven environments.

“Ventac’s primary goal in 2025 is to solidify our position as a trusted acoustic partner for hyperscale and colocation Data Centre operators across Europe and North America. We’re focusing on three core objectives.
First – strategic growth. We aim to expand our footprint in key Data Centre markets through partnerships, targeted projects, and localized support.
Second – innovation leadership. We’re launching a new range of advanced, modular acoustic solutions optimized for ease of installation and minimal disruption to live environments.
Third – sustainability integration. We’re embedding circular design principles and more sustainable materials into every offering, aligning with the green mandates of leading data centre operators.
In 2025, Ventac will be actively involved in several high-profile hyperscale and edge Data Centre developments, where our acoustic systems will play a critical role in site compliance, ESG delivery, and operational resilience.”
“Our approach begins with a detailed acoustic assessment, typically done in close consultation with the project’s design and engineering teams. We consider equipment noise sources such as generators, chillers, and air handling units, as well as airflow and thermal management requirements, space constraints, and future scalability, along with local regulatory standards and ESG targets.
Using this input, we custom-design acoustic enclosures, louvres, barriers, or silencers that balance performance with operational needs. Our focus is always on minimizing noise without compromising airflow, energy use, or maintainability.”

“Ventac’s in-house R&D and testing capabilities provide three major advantages.
First, speed and accuracy. We can simulate, prototype, and validate custom solutions rapidly without relying on third parties.
Second, data-driven design. Our acoustic lab enables real-world testing of materials, configurations, and assemblies, resulting in highly optimized systems.
Third, continuous innovation. Our engineers constantly experiment with new materials and techniques, giving clients access to the latest in acoustic performance and sustainability.
This internal capability de-risks projects for clients, shortens lead times, and ensures solutions are precisely tuned to their application—not just industry averages.”
We have been active in developing noise and thermal insulation solutions for our customers to ensure their machinery don’t lose performance in both the hot and cold environments that they work to. We have used modelling techniques to predict performance benefits and combine this with real world testing to understand how the product interacts with the power train. We are starting to incorporate new and sustainable materials into our products to increase performance while at the same time lowering impact”
“Building relationships with decision-makers in the data centre industry requires a consultative and value-driven approach. At Ventac, we prioritize understanding the specific operational and acoustic challenges our partners face. We engage early in the design or planning stages, offering tailored technical insight rather than off-the-shelf solutions.
Our strategy involves industry engagement—participating in key data centre forums, trade shows, and thought leadership platforms to stay present and relevant. We focus on technical collaboration, working closely with engineers, architects, and facility managers to co-develop solutions aligned with performance, compliance, and ESG goals. Delivering consistent, high-quality outcomes fosters long-term relationships and positions us as a reliable partner, not just a supplier.”
“Ventac stands apart through a combination of deep technical expertise, agile engineering, and an unwavering focus on customer-specific solutions.
We don’t offer one-size-fits-all products. Each solution is engineered to meet the exact acoustic, airflow, and space requirements of our client’s environment. Our in-house acoustic laboratory and testing capabilities enable rapid prototyping, accurate validation, and shorter time-to-market. With growing emphasis on ESG in Data Centres, our materials and designs prioritize energy efficiency and environmental performance.
From design and manufacturing to installation and ongoing support, we manage the full lifecycle, ensuring integration ease and long-term reliability.”
“At Ventac, our vision is to be the preferred acoustic partner for the Data Centre industry—where noise control, operational efficiency, and sustainability converge. We believe that as Data Centres scale and evolve, so too must the support systems that protect their performance. Our commitment is to innovate in harmony with industry demands, delivering noise control solutions that not only meet today’s expectations but are ready for tomorrow’s challenges.
We don’t just reduce noise—we enable progress.”
