Ventac Joins Digital Infrastructure Ireland to Strengthen Data Centre Noise Control Offering

Ventac has officially joined Digital Infrastructure Ireland (DII), reinforcing the company’s commitment to supporting the rapidly growing data centre sector with high-performance noise control solutions. Ventac’s partnership with DII provides us with an important platform to collaborate with the industry, contribute technical expertise and support the development of quieter, more efficient and sustainable digital infrastructure across Ireland.

Ventac Managing Director Darren Fortune attended DII’s onboarding event for new members in January, marking the company’s formal introduction to the network. Pictured below with COO Michelle Wallace and Head of Community and Partnership Stephen Cogan, and commenting on the partnership, Darren Fortune (Executive Council Member) said:

Ventac’s involvement in DII will be supported across multiple areas of the business. Andrew Shannon, General Manager of Ventac’s Data Centre Division, and Brian Scully, Head of Commercial in the Data Centre Division, will attend the DII Kick-Off Event on 18 February, engaging with fellow partners and sharing insights on practical acoustic challenges and solutions within data centre environments.Andrew Shannon, who is Marketing Council Member, added:

“We’re really excited to be part of Digital Infrastructure Ireland. It’s a great way to connect with others in the industry and highlight Ventac’s strength as a noise control solution provider and validator. Our remit is to make data centres quieter and more efficient, so we’re looking forward to sharing ideas and learning from other partners.”

Ventac’s Marketing Manager, Louise Donnelly, will also represent the company at DII’s SheConnects event on 17 February, supporting collaboration and knowledge-sharing across the digital infrastructure industry. In addition, Ventac’s Research and Development Director, Mark Simms, represents the company within DII as its Policy and Research Representative, contributing technical insight and supporting informed discussion around standards, innovation and regulation in the sector.

Partnership with Digital Infrastructure Ireland, Ventac aims to play an active role in shaping best practice for data centre noise control, helping operators meet regulatory requirements while delivering predictable, validated noise control performance.
