Anas Afkir, 20 years old from France, born in Morocco, started his 10 week internship with Ventac this week. Anas is studying Engineering Science, specialising in Acoustics at IUT (Institute Technology University) at St Etienne.
As part of the French education system, second year university students must have completed a 10 week internship in a related work environment. It gives the students the opportunity of working abroad and gaining new language skills, gaining experience and knowledge that relates to their studies and experiencing new cultures and environments. Ventac have had French students on intern placements in the past and the experience has been favourable to both parties.
Anas is very keen to gain knowledge and experience in acoustics and materials so he can pursue his studies further. After researching many companies online, he chose to apply to Ventac where we have extensive experience and knowledge in acoustic materials and have the Acoustic Research Laboratory at our disposal.
“People at Ventac are very friendly and do all they can to make me feel welcome. I’m sure that I will learn a lot and enjoy my time in Ventac.”, says Anas.
