International Women’s Day – #IWD2021

Here at Ventac, we aim to celebrate women’s achievement in the workplace, and as an organisation we pledge our commitment to choose to challenge inequality in the workplace.   At Ventac we truly care about human rights, and we are always looking for ways to make a positive difference for all the women working in Ventac.  As part of our  Sustainability Strategy,  one of our primary goals at Ventac is to achieve gender equality, and empower all females in the workplace.  We support the theme around International Women’s Day, which is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.   The campaign theme for International Women’s Day 2021 is ‘Choose To Challenge‘. A challenged world is an alert world. And from challenge comes change. So let’s all #ChooseToChallenge.

Customer Service Manager

To celebrate #IWD2021 we would like to take this opportunity to put our Customer Service Manager, Áine Clarke, on the limelight.  We recognise her extraordinary dedication to Ventac, and her capabilities to manage the Customer Service Department. Áine joined Ventac in February 2002 as a temporary to our Customer Services Department.  Prior to Ventac, Áine held numerous customer service positions across various different sectors, including catering and call centres.  During her tenure at Ventac, she has worked across various different departments from the purchasing and logistics department to the accounts department.  In 2009 we made a decision to promote Áine as the Purchasing and Logistics Manager, and manage all aspects of this department.   She then decided to move to the USA with her family for a few years, and we supported her with this decision, and asked her to contact us on her return.  And she did contact us, and rejoined the Company in 2013.  Today  Áine is now Customer Services Manager for Ventac, and is an active member of the management team, alongside Ruth Scott our Engineering Manager.

Driven by determination and passion, Áine takes pride in providing exceptional customer service to all our international customers. Pre COVID as a Customer Service Manager, Áine often traveled to our customers on site to represent Ventac face to face and grow our understanding of the customers business model. This helps us better understand how we can continuously improve our service and supply. Some other goals include increasing response times, analysing customer service measurement tools, developing customer surveys, and exploring options on how to improve customer service.  With limited F2F meetings over the last 12 months, we had to quickly respond to how best to deal with customers via online channels. Áine currently lives in Newbridge with her family.  When she’s not keeping busy, you will usually find her taking in some of Irelands beautiful scenery in the Wicklow mountains and beyond. Reliability, expertise and exceptional customer service is at the core of Ventac and our expertise and knowledge of the Vehicle and Industrial Noise Control markets ensures we can provide high performance acoustic solutions for every application. Ventac’s custom made solutions are designed and manufactured specifically for the customer and substantiality reduce both interior and exterior vehicle noise levels.
